About Me:
I believe in authenticity, intimacy and responsibility. I trust in the creative process. I am passionate about life. I love to play, push the boundaries and experience each moment with my fully expressed, (mostly) awakened self. I consider myself to be spiritually connected to the world. I believe that community is the key to sustainability. I don't believe in diets. I went to a very prestigious Science & Technology high school. I am an accomplished singer/songwriter/guitarist. I get PURE JOY in connecting with people. Emotions are what make us human, and most people are so busy talking about their emotions they never get a chance to actually experience them. I had an eating disorder for more than a third of my life. When I was a child I wanted to be a veterinarian. I am rather sloppy, but rarely dirty. Chances are, I'll cry when you cry - because I feel it too. I am a natural born leader, and I followed that up with Co-Active Leadership Certification. I am just now learning to accept my body. The book “Leadership & Self-Deception” changed my life. I grew up with my mother and my older sister, Jessica. “Loving Yourself is Healing the World.” I used to paint and sculpt - now I just draw. Give me some things to DO in the REAL WORLD and I'll be satisfied. I create amazing experiential workshops. My best friend's name is Dan; he is a poet and he is magical. I find myself more afraid of success than of failure. I believe that life is a process that includes ups, downs, backs and forth's. I reject the media-driven standards of beauty. I channel. I am twenty-six years old. I wish to someday live in a sustainable, green (& blue) community. My business partner Jeannette is my rock, my rocket, and my rockette. I laugh every single day. I am a Cancer, Aries rising, moon in Capricorn. My degree is in Psychology, but I find coaching to be more fulfilling. I am committed to personal growth, to always be learning, and to sometimes screwing up - and that's ok. I want to change the way people see themselves and their bodies. I have a hamster named Dumpling and a partner named Chris. I am obsessed with rosewater. My mind never stops thinking of new ideas, programs, workshops, and tools. I learn more from the members of the Eating Disorder group that I run than I ever have through a book, article, or twelve-step program. I, apparently, also do web design. I love me….and I love you.
